Hi Again peeps
had to have another go with the distress inks, may have used a bir too much contrast on the photo, but i used a sketch i found in a mag and some faux stitching (quicker!).
I am not back at work till Thursday so have afew more days off before normality strikes and kids back at school. May be able to get a few more cards done, Just for fun!!

Hi peeps
Well Happy New year to you all!!! hope you had a lovely xmas, my family went off to Brussels for the Holidays and as promised i have added some photos of our time there. Soo much fun!

well i would like to show you my last christmas card i made for my challenge over at Digidesignchallenges. i have finally used my distress inks What do you think?I asked my Dt friend how to stop the ink running with digi images and she gave me a few tips, one was to heat gun the ink and YEAH it worked!!The image is called Penguins walk.I have used some freebie papers and a freebie sentiment also my sewing machine.

Well its now December where do the years go?? i have left my xmas cards really late this year and have only nade a few i think i will have to go shhhhh dare i say it..........and buy some!!

My card is made usin my digi Snowman Surprise and can be found at my store Here.
I have used and embossing folder on the back( i always find these a little small) some gorgeous lace and MS icicle punch, my machine was kind to me and the swirls and poinsettia are spellbinder dies. The sentiments are a papermania set.

The image is colored with copics and some german glass again on the fur hat and coat( i was a bit more careful this time) and some funflock on the snowman.

Hi There peeps

Hope your weekend has been a good one, weather here is naff!! and i feel like i am living in the Tundra! its dark before i get out of bed!

I now have me a sun lamp that hopefully will top up my deficiant body! they are even putting Vit D in our cornflakes now cos we get no sun!

Anyhow enough of the moans here is a xmas card i made using my image 'Xmas Cheers' it is coloured with my copics, i have used some german Glass crystals on her coat ( be careful with these i ended up with shards in my fingers!)

The snow is 3D glitter, the papers are Cosmo cricket and the stamps are from papermania ( i think)

Rags and Teds Flowers

Christmas!!

Hi there peeps
Just a quick card to show you today, i have been busy elsewhere lately, backward and forwards to the Doc for what they think may be Gallstones, but went for a scan yesterday and guess, what all clear! great! yeah! on one hand but on the other hand what is the intermittent pain i am having?

oh well time will tell.
It has also been a milestone in my house as my daughter has just turned 16! oh my........... who wants one????
On one hand she is a fab doughter on the other a constant worry, one of her facebook friends has just been killed on a train in Liverpool, she fell under it off the platform 11.30pm! i cannot begin to imagine her parents pain, and another was found washed up on the beach with her boyfriend, she was 17, god its so worrying wondering what they are doing......ha! now i know thats what the pain is!!!!!! stress!!!

Anyhow here is a christmas card i have made with my new digi 'all i want for christmas'. Hope you like it?

Hi there folks
Just thought i'd share a new card i made with a new digi image for my store HERE.She is called Reindeer Holly, i have coloured her with copics and fun flocked her hat and coat and used some Glistening snow writer that creates 3D glitter snow, you cant really see it on the photo very well. I have used a new Marianne designs Poinsettia die for the flower and the sentiment is from a set from papermania urban stamps.

I went off to a stamp fair last week and bought lots of goodies for a stand that had all Bev Rochesters's. cards with all the embellies she uses for sale oohhh i had a ball, thats where the silver flowers came from. Her cards are even better in the flesh(so to speak).Welldone Bev you are a very talented lady.

Hi there my long lost crafty friends!!

Well i did take a little break but cant keep away!

I Just wanted to show you my card for my challenge over the page, Girly creations
I have used a new digi of mine called Rags and Teds bench, hope you like it!?

I finally got hold of some of those corner thingys that i see Bev R using all the time, great little things.I have used a freebie sentiment stamp from a mag and all my flowers are from wild orchid crafts.

My image has nbeen coloured with my copics. I did try distress inks but it went in the bin just cant quite grasp them!

So thats all for now, 0ff to a stamp festival today in my home town, may just pick up some goodies and recognise some faces.

Well it was a lovely surprise to be asked to be GDT over at Craft us Crazy challenge. I am posting this card a little late as i forgot! ooops.

I have been busy lately organising a holiday, which is now done and i cant wait!!! i am so fed up with the weather here in England DULL DULL DULL!!!! so i am off to Majorca!! yeh get away from this very depressed country!!

Anyhow here is my card using one of my images 'Window Princess' coloured with copics. I have used a lily of the valley sentiment, and the usual flowers and nesties.

OMG!! what have all you lovely Uk ladies done with the weather i have never seen it this bad in JulY whats happened!!! sooooo much rain.....................

Mind you good excuse to craft and thats what i have been doing hidden away listening to the rain poutside in my little craft room and here is a card i made:

I have coloured the image with copics and used some liquid applique on the Scrooms! i love that stuff! and i will let you into a secret i couldnt be bothered making a sentiment so i just stamped it on the card( and boy does it show ....looks awful) never mind wont do it again..

I have bought some new flowers although the large one is a little too pink for the challenge but is all i had and the centres are from prima. As the title says, i thought it best i post something!!! LOL!
I have been working behind the scenes on my new challeneg blog and had my daughter in work experience with me the last 2 weeks so things have been hectic.
Anyhow i made this card a while ago from a mag ( cant remember which one), the papers where freebies, i have used mt image 'little Rock Chick', the flowers were made with my retro punch and spritzed with water and scrunched.

Colour Create Challenge 74.... Fushia, white & Green

Hi there peeps

Today is Colour Creates Challenge 74. and this fortnight we had a fab piccie to inspire you

the colours are : fushia, green and white. with the optional extra of make your own flowers.

Now i always thought Fushia was bright pink but i'm afraid the colour in the picture doesnt match my card, but i think there are a few variations to the colour so.............

I have used my Image called 'ONE EACH' found here.
I have coloured it with copics and i routed out my daisy punch for the flowers and some candy and sparkle for the centres.

I do hope you like it , i am not making many cards at the mo, life is too hectic, i have my daughter in with me at work on work experience which is very interesting.......

Colour Create Challenge

I cant believe its nearly a week since my last post. Boy how time flys.....
Anyhow today is Colour Create challenge. day and this fortnight we have been give the colours BLUE, GREY and WHITE by our lovely teamie Mina and the extra option is vellum.

Now onto my card:

I chose one of my digi images for men, 'keep your eye on the ball' mainly because i think it fitted with the colour scheme, i have also drawn a background image of a tennis net. I have coloured both with copics and i had to cut out the bear and dog seperatley and mount them on top of the net. The sentiment was a freebie.

I used some vellum on the tennis racket.

Crafty Calender monthly challenge

Well its the first sunday of the month and time for the Crafty Calendar Challenge.
This time the theme is 'Things with wings', anything goes so long as it has wings.
The lucky winner will get 5 digis of their choice from Whimsy Stamps.

So here is my card:

I used an image from my digi store called Flower Beary Fairy available here. for only $2.00.

I have coloured her in copics and done the out of the box technique on her wings. There is no stitching or distressing, i have used some pretty lace and a couple of hearts i recieved as some candy. The sentiment is a rubon and i used lots of Glimmer glitter which doesnt show very well in the photo.

Colour Create Challenge Dt card and other challenges.

Phew hi there peeps
boy what a rush today and so sorry i am late posting my DT card, its half term here and i was picking my daughter up from the local fair at 10pm last night and it was my first day back to work after a week off and there was loads to do, its all rush rush rush so of course i forgot to post my card for this morning.

Anyhow this weeks challenge are the colours Purple, Blue and silver chosen by out lovely teamie Sharon and with the extra option of a male theme.

So here is my card:

Now i did struggle with these colours but i think the best thing to do was to keep it simple, i used my crop a dile on the corners and for the added silver i dug out my embossing powders and gun, i ts a long time since i've used these.

The image is mine from my store found here. called 'a day on the lake'. and i coloured it with copics. Now i did have a little help from Annika from My Messy Crafter. who does a fantastic tutorial on colouring sky with copics, check this out her demo is stunning. Unfortunately i did not have all the colours she used so i adapted mine. I am quite pleased with the result but check out the tutorial you will be sooooo inspired.

Bling it on Challenge

Hi again peeps
here is a card i made for the new challenge blog Bling it on. this is my GDT card as i am sponsoring the challeneg this week. You will win 5 digis from my store. The challenge is embossing. I chose to use my image 'Bubble Duck' available Here.

I coloured the image in copics and then used some fab liquid applique this image is perfect for using it and oh i had so much fun!!!

Just make sure when you use it you have done all your shapes using the cuttlebug before you use the applique. I always forget then have to run it through and squash it all flat!!! arrrhhh so anoying, but i do it everytime how dunce is that???
the embossing was the circle folder as i was trying to follow the theme of bubbles.

The sentiment i made myself on the PC and the little heart stamp was freebie.

Hi There my crafty friends
I have a card to show your for the Cute card Thursday challenge. i have a few days off work so some fab crafty time!
the kids are off school too but old enough now to be doing their own thing which is wonderful, my daughter has had to go into school though for a dance practise and my son is out on his bike god knows where, scares me thinking how far they ride, i give him guidelines but i know he breaks them, but you have to let them go into the world and get their confidence thank god for mobile phones at least i acn keep track of him.
Anyhow onto my card:

This fortnight our lovely teamie Sylvia has chosen the colours, Brown,white, cream and extra option is one extra colour, buttons and flowers.

I chose pink as my extra colour and some new flowers from wild orchid crafts.

This is a new image called ' Cute Carly' and i coloured her in copics.

I used my sewing machine without any cotton and faux stitched with white ink. It took me ages to get Carly to sit on the ribbon as i had to use the out of the box technique, but i think it worked.

My sentiment is from LOTV and buttons from stash.

Well this is my first ever step card, me and shaped cards dont get on very well, so i saw a card in a craft mag and took the template and inspiration and thought i'd have a go.
The image is mine called 'swingtime' from my digi store HERE. i have coloured her with copics and made my own sky background with a scallop punch and copics.
The flowers are new from marianne Designs, these are good fun!.

Hope you have all had a lovely easter break its my first day back at work today after a lazy break.

I have used a new digi image of mine called 'Have a Splash' and coloured her with my copic pens. The sentiment is from Lynnes sentiments for you, i think it was a freebie. I have used distress crackle paint around the edges and my Tim holtz distrsser. the doily heart is from wild orchid crafts.

Hi there peeps
Well most of us here in the UK have a lovely day off for the Royal wedding, i must say i am not much of a royalist but i did have to watch it for the DRESS!! and all the fashions, i must say one thing us brits do do well and that is POMP!
what an elegant dress it was too! i wish her all the best of luck!, although i wouldnt step in her shoes in a million years! lets hope this one doesnt have a tragic ending!!

Anyhow off to my card today i thought i had better enter a few challenges so here goes.

Colour Create Challenge..............

Hi there my crafty friends
Hope you are enjoying this bit of lovely weather we are having, make the most of it, this will be it for the rest of the year!!!!
And my US buddies hope the weather is ok there now too!
Anyhow its time for Colour Create Challenge. and this fortnight the colours have been chosen by our lovely LIZ and they are, PINK, BROWN, BLUE what fab colours and the extra option is cracked glass or acetate.

Now i have never made an acetate card before and i knew i had a piece in my stash perfect for this challenge. I took a peek on u tube and found a tutorial similar to the one i have made, its quite simple but a lot of double backing so you cannot see an glue marks.

I used a new image 'My furry friend' coloured with copics. The acetate has already got the swirls on it so i cheated a bit there, no swirl stamping. I used my slit punch to attach the ribbon and made a little flower, the sentiment is a rub on.

Now pop along and take a peek at all the fabulous DT cards and do join in its really fun!!

well i thought i would share this one with you, its for my MIL who likes Tigers and is quite old fashioned, so i had to try and make it vintagey! without any tearing.

The image is mine from my digi site Here. Its coloured with copics although not very well i think i need to buy some decent paper so the colours will blend better.

I have added a little tag and heart and the extra swirls are rubons.

I have used a digi image of mine called 'don't fall now' and coloured with copics, you can find it here. I then used some fab baby pink freebie paper from Bearly mine designs, some wonderful lace and the sentiment is one i had in my stash fro printworks.. The flowers are made of Tulle so hope that counts.

Hi My distant crafting friends

First i must apologise for my lack of blogging i have not been too well at the mo.... i have ME or Chronic fatique syndrome and although i can cope quite well sometimes it rears it ugly head and i am out of action for a while. Feeling a bit better but it gives me balance problems so i cant do much. Anyhow onto my Colour Create card:

Now this time we have the colours chosen by me. I wanted to use some green for st Patricks day and a different piccie than usual. So here we go.......

the colours are Green/olive green, Cream and Brown and i must say i did find this challenge difficult it took me ages to come up with a card.

New Technique image

Hi there peeps
Well today i spent most of the day in my craft room arrhh bliss! i created this image using a software program i have had for a while but not mastered. I have spent some time with my new birthday graphics tablet and drew this little girl for you.
Its called 'For Me' ( i do struggle sometimes with a title for my images and i apologise if its the same as any other designers, truly not intentional, please let me know and i can change it).
Sooo i have screammed, tore my hair out, swore and become excited all in one day, drawing this little girl, software are monsters to master and i think i have got the very basics which i was well chuffed about, so just keep on trying hey!
Can anyone tell?

Anyhow i have used the sketch from Sketch Saturday (rotated).

and coloured my image in copics, Oh and i bought a little wonder the other day, a bow maker, reduced in my craft shop, how fab it is!! i,m sad love little gagets like this that actually work! it is from papermania.

Here is my card:

I have used the colours Banana, blueberry, Kiwi and srawberry and my image is a new one fro my storehere. Called Strawberry Lou. ( drew her especilly for this challenge.)

I have used some fab free digi papers from Bearly Mine i just love them. The sentiment was a freebie off the net.

I would also like to say a big THANKYOU to all my special wishes for my birthday yesterday although i am getting to the stage where i would rather forget them!!!

I recieved a new toy------ A graphics tablet for my digis all i need to do now is figure how to use it, so i may be absent from blogging thats where i will be!!

I went for a lovely meal with my family but ended up with some cardboard in my pasta YUK!!!

i got free meal though! i told him i had taken a photo and was going to put it on facebook!! (joking) but you should have seen his face! maybe should have stuick out for free meals for all!!

Whats happened to the weather?? its just awful!! and so cold again!! cant wait for springtime....
Anyhow here is a card i made for Friday sketchers.
I wanted to see what my Little LOu looked like sitting on the wall and here she is!! with Duck, 2 new images at my store.
I have used some Jack and Jill paperpad which i think is lovely and the sentiments is from Sentimants4u. one good thing about digis is you can resize them! as i have done with this sentiment.
I have used a new Marianne designs cutout flowers and leaves and coloured all the image in with copics.

Its been exactly 1 week since my last card post, how awful am i?

i just cant get my mojo going at all. I have eventually made this card with some of my new images.

New Images.

Hi Once again my blogging friends

Well ....my cold has now nearly gone, lets hope thats it for this year! huh, famous last words.

Sorry not been around much been feeling sorry for myself!!!!

Anyhow i have a little card to show you today,i have made it with two of my images.

I drew a background bridge and had drawn this bear and little girl and i decided to see if i could get them together, i had to erase some stuff out of the bridge background so they would sit nicely on the bridge. I decoupaged them but you cant really see it.

I have used my paper pack i got from hobbycrfat by my minds eye and i must say i have used it lots, expensive but well worth it. I also tried my Tim Holtz picket fence distress crackle paint again, dont know if i'm doing it right, it never looks as good as other peeps!!!

I also bought some lovely marianne Designs paper decorations for my flowers and they are really lovely, i had to get some very small brads to sit in the holes though. My sentiment is a just rite stamp, sat on a nestie.

I have caught my daughters lovely winter cold so not feeling too good, this is cold no 4 this year ---- i dont think i have ever had so many in one year! cant wait for summer! and some warm sunshine.

Well thought i had better post a card its been so long! the days just pass me by, 2011 isnt going any slower!
Anyhow i have decided to dip my toes in the distress ink world, boy is it challenging!
this is about my 5th attempt before i actually liked it,

i think the trick is 'less is more'
although it does tend to run away with you. I will keep trying.

I have used my image 'Little Lou' and the sketch over at Truly Scrumptious. i have twisted it around. The extra option is dreaming of summer i suppose this could work.

I am also entering this into Creativeinspirations. - something new. I have my new image and new paper.

Hi There my Crafty friends

Well its all over ! Christmas that is! i do hope you all had a fab time, mine was rather hectic and tiring but enjoyable, and boy did i eat too much this year! i felt like the stufffed Turkey and still do!! i am still off work till next Tuesday so i will get back into healthy living then!! famous last words! LOl!

I finally got my hands on some picket fence distress glaze that i see some peeps using, you cant really see it but i used it around the edges of the paper. The bears are mine coloured in copics and cut out and i edged the heart with some lace. The sentiment was feebie from a google site, which i mounted on my new nesties and just left plain. I do hope you like it and pop over and just check out our Fab DT's cards they are awesome.

Hi there my crafty friends
Well finally we have some snow!! yeah!! the whole country has been covered in the white stuff except the wirral peninsula, something to do with being between 2 rivers, we always escape the worst, but last night it fell thick and fast and was sooo pretty, i was snowball fighting with my son at 10.00pm! I do like a bit of snow, i know most hate it, but its christmas and thats what christmas should have!! heres a little peek at my garden, although its not like it was last night.

Anyhow onto another christmas card----- anyone kinda had enough of christmas cards yet?? i'm getting a bit that way, i made this one for a few challenges , the image is mine form my store here. and coloured with copics and some liquid applique for the snow.

The sentiment is a freebie off the net and the poinsettia is homemade and edged with distress crackle paint. Do hope you like it!

Colour Create Challenge

Hi there peeps
sorry i have not been around in blogging land much, toooo much to do not enough time!!!
Anyhow here is my card for the Colour Create. Challenge this week. The colours have been chosen by our lovely teamie Julie and they are PLUM & WHITE with the option of frames.
I made an easel card using nesties and found the tutuorial on U tube. ( as i didnt have a clue! lol! ), i made frames with the nesties and used one of my digis 'hold on tight', this is for a friends little girl who is poorly at the mo so i hope it cheers her up.

The colours are lovely to work with and check out the Dt's work we have all interpreted plum in our own way but they all look Stunning!!

LOOK LOOK LOOK some of my images are in Quick cards and i even get a mention, how exciting, i didnt even know, the lovely Katina from Quick cards emailed me yesterday to tell me i was in there, i had no idea what images she had used, so off i went to asda to buy my mag, boy it does make you smile..........

Anyhow enough boasting and onto my card:

Today i made a card using my Merry Mice Image, i think it has turned out a little cartoon looking.

I have used papermania papers and the sentiment is a freebie from a mag.

the sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

i thought it looked interesting as i dont usually do circles the larger one i drew around a small bowl and cut it out.

The image is coloured with copics, but i did it again with the liquid applique, put in on first then put the image through the cuttlebug AAgggh! will i ever learn, when you look close up its a little messy!

Hi my crafty friends

well am i feeling sorry for myself today, not only did i have a crash and get whiplash, i am now full of a stinking cold, one of those that makes you feel sick, hot and cold and your nose wont stop running! i hate this time of year for bugs.

Anyhow i thought i would just post 2 of my cards i made for Suzette over at Crafty Sentiments. she made 3 of my images into stamps and here are the 2 xmas ones

SFTW Challenge card

Hi there all
its time for SFTW Challenge again,

first i would like to say a big Thankyou for all the well wishes after my bump on wednesday, my car is poorly in the garage and has £1000 of damage so i now have a courtesy car, quite fun actully as it brand new!!

i have noticed when i am driving now i am always checking out whos behind me, i have been to Docs and he said i have whiplash, i feel like i have done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson!! and have a constant headache,

but oh well could have been worse!

The young lady who ran into me was picking up her sat nav off the floor as it fell off the dash board and i was stopped behind someone turning right, who i was shunted into the back of.
Poor girl she was so upset, only about 18, i thought of my daughter and was sympathetic with her as at least she was ok.

Anyhow enough waffling here is my card for SFTW.

A Recipe

2 squares plus buttons and bling.

The papers i used are freebies for a mag the ribbon is tescos and the sentiment i found as a freebie on google, the image is one called 'My ears are cold' dont you just want to hug that little rabbit! this image did not start out this way i drew the bears arm too high then adjusted the rabbits eats, it is available in my Digi store.

I coloured the image with my polychromos this tme to give a softer look.

I hope you like it take a peek at the rest of the DT oh and we have some new members too!

Colour Create DT card finally!!!

Hi There my crafty friends
Well i am a little sore and stiff today to say the least, but i have got a day off work!!yeh!!!, i am at this moment waiting for my courtesy car to arrive, at last i will have a car, i dont do puplic transport.. did all that in my 20's give me my car anyday!!
Anyhow after all the commotion i forgot to post my card for Colour Create. the challenge is Green, Grey and white with the extra option of silver or acetate.

My daughter says it looks like a wedding card hmmm maybe it does, but the image is called 'Waiting for the party'
I always find green hard to use in cards but found this lovely paper from my minds eye in hobbycraft, i also got my sewing machine out, i colored the image in copic and stickles and used kaliedoscope embossing powder on the skirt but not heated just left to dry, the lovely flowers are from my local haberdasery store Abakan.
hope you like it, off to get my car.

New Image and off to the GP!!

Well hi there peeps

Today is my day off and this morning i took the kids to school then had a car crash!!

I was stopped at a jucnction and a car ploughed straight into the back of me, it was a young girl and she said her sat nav fell on the floor and she bent down to pick it up.

She then shunted me into the car in front.

Great hey! her car was a right off, she couldnt even start it and all the front bonnet had caved in. I now have no car as the garage who are supposed to give me a courtesey car have none because of the weather!!! bloody great.

I think i have whiplash and i am off to the GP later. At least noone was really hurt and i am so glad i did not have the children in the back and i had my carseat on. Things can happen so quickly.

sooooo on to my card: the image is called "hold my hand"

maybe penguin wants his hand holding in case they crash!!!!

I spent ages colouring this image in and paper pierced the scarf, used flower soft and applique for the snow. The poinsettia was a decoupage sheet i distressed and i added some white embossing power to the edges of the paper and flower.

i am using papertake weekly. sketch and am off to find some other challenges.

I thought i would find some challenges to enter so i made this christmassy card.

When i have the time i love to colour my images in and see what they look like although thats not very often these days! Anyhow i used some scrapbook paper for the winter trees and i am sorry but i have cut off who it is by. I then used some Bo Bunny Freebie paper and of course Lynnes Sentiments4u. sentiments. the round one is from a christmas set i bought the other ticket was a fab freebie friday digi how cool.

Hubby's Birthday card

Hi all

Just thought i'd share this card with you, it was for my hubbies birthday last week, as you may have guessed he plays the guitar and a Gibson Guitar is his fav so hence i drew a bear for him. When i first met him he played in a band and wore a hat just like this! i think that what attracted him to me!!

Boy does time fly!

Anyhow he is available in my store. I Coloured him in copics and the papers are from Costco ( yes, costco, i got a huge case full of papers very cheap) only prob is they are all very dark colours, ideal for mens cards but i think i will have them forever as there are so many of them.

The base drum i have left blank for peeps to put their own message in, i used a stamp i had in my stash.

Anyhow i am off this afternoon going to do some house work Boo hoo!!

I have used one of my images kiss me Christmas and used traditional colours of winter. The image is coloured with copics, the poinsettias are from wild orchid and i coloured them red, the papes are from a paperpad by KARS and prima marketing. A punched out snowflake, a stickon sentimet and a bit of red ribbon all added too, oh and a little bit of ripped sparkle card for some snow.
I have used the Sketch for Sketchandstash.

I am not sure if my colours are right, i used an agel for my digis and cut off her halo!! naughty girl! then sprayed shimmer mist for the background, coloured the image in copics and lots of sparkle ans a bit of lace.

Hi There peeps

hope your sunday is going relaxingly, my kids are both out at the mo and hubbys watching the F1 so arrrhhh a bit of peace.

So i made this card quite qucickly and isnt it funny the ones you spend less time on them the nicer they are--- well mine are anyway, i followed the sketch over at Friday Sketches.

used one of my digi image" please let me open it" and used fabulous Basic Grey papers i think this is what makes the card stand out, great papers are vital!

I coloured with copics and stickles and used one of Lynnes fab sentiments from Sentiments4u. these are fab, instanly downloaded and a set of 6 can be resized to fit the round nesties GREAT!

Also she does a freebie Friday, and will design your blog signatures for you! a very talented lass! i may be able to draw a teddybear but i am useless on photoshop!

A Challenge Christmas Card...

Well guess what peeps
I finally got to colour one of my digis, i have been so busy, this is usually left to my fab DT but i really love this image and wanted to colour it in, and enter a few challenges at the same time.
Now this is called 'Carol singing crew' and i thought i would colour them in with my forgotton polys.
I am not sure if this was a good idea or i should have used my copics. I am yet to attempt distress inks!!! too scared!!lol!

Anyhow i also thought i would do a easel card but i found this difficult and not enough space. So my papers are some fab ones from Nitwit collection theya re lovely only A4 size but really cute. The sentiment was from Sentiments4you. Lynne does some fab digi download sentiments and this is what i was looking for. I used my woodware snowflake pinch and ms icicle punch and covered everthing in Glitterdust and stickles.

I used my 'Makeover maisy' girl from my store., you may recognise her from my Blinkie her name is Jessie. I used some freebie papers and tried to make a sky by cutting out some cloud shapes and just inking some white around the shape. I then added the butterflies. I also used my MS grass punch for the first time.

well i can finally post my card, i have been sooo busy lately with work and i have been up to my neck in wedding invites, and there was a deadline for today and of course i had left them to the last minute. I think i will say no next time they are a lot of hassle!

Well Hi there my Crafty friends

Well its time for Colour Create. again, your last entries where super loved the takes on the colour theme, well try this one out! purple, Aqua, white, with the extra option of swirls.

here is a piccie to help you, well i loved these colours and they where chosen by our fab teamie Sharon.

For my card i used one of my images from my store. called 'Sing little bird' and i tried a different style this time by using the sentiment as the main centre piece by using my nesties and a stamp from my justrite set. I coloured the girl with what else my copics (i will try oneday to use distress inks honest!) and i used my new MS punch which i love oh and some candy. The swirls are a punch but it does not say the make.

SFTW Challenge - Halloween/Fall

Not been around much lately sorry, been busy withy my real job!!(wish i could get paid for blogging!!lOL)
Well its time for SFTW. and this fortnight we have Halloween/fall theme.

Well here is my card-------

Now this didnt quite work as i wanted it to, i bought some distress crackle glaze from Tim Holtz but it thought it would crack my background more but it didnt really work!! i drew the background with white gel pen then distressed it and covered my image in Glossy accents (which looks like it has white streaks on it in the photo).
I coloured my digi image "pumpkin bear" in copics and he has a bat hanging off his hat which you cant see !
I bought some black fluffy brads ages ago finally i got to use them. I made the sentiment tag and the BOO is a sizzix alphabet die.

Anyhow here are 2 cards i did for 2 of my friends little girls as you will see one is 2 yrs old the other is 1.
I had the younger little girl already drawn but i needed an older one for the 2 yr old so i drew
'Maisy May with Bunny' and thought i would share them with you.

A Few Challenges

Hi There my crafty friends
I had a few hours to spare today, the kids are out and hubbys watching the Grand Prix, arrhhh peace!
So i decided to make a card for a few challenges.
Crazy 4 Challenge. - Bling, well this paper is just gorgeous from kars a paper pad called paper rose you get a plain pattern also a glittered one so i used the plain for the background and the glitter to paper pierce her dress. the image is Makeover Maisy Girlfriend Annie from my digi store. Here. The other bling is my brads and the present is done with using some gold leafy stuff ( cant remember what its called!!)

I used the sketch over at Sketch and Stash.

And Paper Romance - Handmade flowers. These are just my woodware punches.Charizma Cards.- Anything Goes. Maybe off to find some more challenges but really i should go for a walk.

Well hi my crafty friends

Firstly i would like to say sorry for my lack of blogging lately, with my new digi store i get caught up in drawing piccies and dont seem to have much time left for posts and cardmaking, boo hoo i think i will just have to give up work!!lol!

I have used one of their images , i am not sure if she is a bride or a princess but i made her a bride so i could incorporate the white challenge.

Christening Card

Hi There peeps

This is a Christening card i thought i would show you. I have made it for a friend and i drew the image. I have coloured with copics and used my nesties. I have edged all the outsids with glitter stickles this gives a nice effect but a bit of a pain as you have to leave it to dry.

I have seen a copic glitter pen, anyone know what that is like?

I have embossed and used all my lovely flowers from Sicily, that where used for wedding favors, the little heart charm says hand made with love and the sentiment is from cuddlybuddly.

Back from my hols with a Colour Create card

Hi there peeps

well its all over!!!! boy how holidays fly!!

I had a wonderful time in sunny Spain and it was so hot and fantastic! we booked our own villa with a pool which was just beautiful with 180 degree sea views, i was in paradise. This view is one i will remember for a long time! (thats me!)

Anyhow back to reality........ Its time for Colour Create again and this week we have a challenge of RED, WHITE or CREAM and GOLD and of course i had to make a christmas card.

I have used one of my images penguins visit. I used some flowersoft on the fur and then ran my image through the cuttlebug!!! i wonder how many of us have done this???? Durrr! needless to say it was all flat so i had to do another one, although you cannot see it very well on the photo anyway.

i am off on my Jollys to Spain in a villa overlooking the sea, i cant wait-- seeing as we have had such lousy weather this summer, just to get a bit of sun, relax, eat, drink and be merry, all by my swimming pool!!! aarrrrrhhhh!!

I have used an image from my store called ' i just called to say' coloured him in with copics and the little round sentiment is by my new blogging friend Lynne who has just started her sentiment digi site you can find it here. they fit into the nesties perfectly.

Well this was a surprise, i thought everyone had forgotton about me as i just havent been doing any commenting for a while life has just gone into full steam ahead!

I love that i have a found a fantastic hobby that i truly love.

Hi there my crafty friends

Well this week we have a fab piccie with some yummy colours to get your teeth into chosen by Julie the colours are: Duck egg blue, Ivory plus one other colour from the pic. Extra option is Shabby chic.

I loved these colours but i had a block in making it but i think i finally got there:

I have used Cousin Carly from my digi store coloured with copics, i have cut her out and mounted her on a circle, i have used the sketch from Friday Sketchers. This gingham ribbon i got from may local store and i actually got some stamps out for the background paper, tag and background circle. I am also entering it into Simon Says stamp. - Summertime Blues and Alota Rubber stamps. - Distress, Pennys challenge. - Anything goes and wild orchid challenge. -One for the girls.
I hope you like it, i am running round at the moment getting stuff in the last minute summer sales for my summer hols next week, so sorry not much blogging to be done.

Well after showing off my stamps, here is a card i made with an image Victorian Daisy fom my store, i am entering it into a few challenges:

Well here is my card:

hope you like it, the image is coloured with copics and i have distressed the edges with a distressing tool and ink. Nesties and some fab lace. Hope you like it.

SFTW Challenge Back to School

Well hi there peeps
Its SFTW. time agian and this fortnight its BACK TO SCHOOL, now i did not have an image for this so i decided to draw one and of course little ted came to the rescue. Although i think he is writing backwards!!lol! teddies are allowed to do that arent they!?
I used some fab papers from Bo Bunny and the backing form a paperstack.
I have coloured ted with copics, distressed edges with my Tim holtz distresser and the ABC is downloaded just from google images and cut out. The Hi is a peeloff.

The image is available at my store and this fortnights challenge is sponsored by Simom Says stamp of a groovy $25, so get over there and check it out!

I have a day off work today, but what a week its been, my car failed the MOT and needed the axle taking off , so had to arrange time off work to take to the garage etc and then i am also booking a last minute holiday and guess what happened....................i just happened to check the passports and the kids are out of date. arrhhhh!!!! panic, i have had to arrange an appointment for a last mimute passports costing a fortune!! then there are rumors of the air traffic controllers going on strike!! oh dear is this a bad sign????

Anyhow off to book flights and a beautiful sunny Villa in Spain.( the weather here is appalling!)

Colour Create Challenge 50

Hi my crafty friends
Its Colour Create time again and this challenge has been chosen by Victoria, the colours are: - Hot Pink, Warm Orange, Saffron, with the extra option of Butterflies, here is a piccie to help:

Now boy did i stuggle with this one, I had a picture already drawn with butterflies in and i wanted to colour it so i coloured Chasing Butterflies with my copics and polys for the background.

Now i am not sure if i pulled this one off, i still am not sure about the colours together. But on a positive note i did get to colour my cute bear!

Now pop along and join in the fun the prize this week victoria is kindly giving away some Stampin up items. I have used the Sketch from Sunday Sketch and stamp.

have to be quick today off to Liverpool city centre shopping hitting Liverpool ONE, i am going with my mum in law and daughter so should be fun!!tee hee!

I am going to take my MIL into a shop call Hollister, its in Darkness except for spotlights on the clothes its all very strange! but they have 2 male models standing at the entrance in their swimwear!!!!

Liverpool has changed beyond all regogniton since the capital of culture, they have a make shift beach at the moment with a fairground on top of the stores, they had tons of sand delivered! very Bizarre but a really enjoyable shopping experience.

Finally a new card!!!

Hi there my crafty friends

Well i finally managed to make a card for some challenges. I have been so busy lately, and the kids being off school means more mum time.

Anyhow how are you all in Blighty loving the rain! WOW it has been so bad, i dont think i have ever seen downpours like it except abroad in Europe.

Luckliy this Tuesday i finished work half day and was in my craft room and i heard dripping i looked behind me and water was pouring in through a small crack in the ceiling! all onto my sewing machine and craft desk, luckily it had the cover on and i was there,

image if i hadnt been in my room, water would have swamped all my craft stuff! thankfully hubby was home and he got in the loft and fixed a tile on the roof that was loose. Thats how bad it was though the rain was just horrendous.

Anyhow its a nice sunny day today and i have a whole week off from work yeah!!!!
