Christmas card and some snow YEH!!!!

Hi there my crafty friends
Well finally we have some snow!! yeah!! the whole country has been covered in the white stuff except the wirral peninsula, something to do with being between 2 rivers, we always escape the worst, but last night it fell thick and fast and was sooo pretty, i was snowball fighting with my son at 10.00pm! I do like a bit of snow, i know most hate it, but its christmas and thats what christmas should have!! heres a little peek at my garden, although its not like it was last night.

Anyhow onto another christmas card----- anyone kinda had enough of christmas cards yet?? i'm getting a bit that way, i made this one for a few challenges , the image is mine form my store here. and coloured with copics and some liquid applique for the snow.

The sentiment is a freebie off the net and the poinsettia is homemade and edged with distress crackle paint. Do hope you like it!

Finally a Christmas card that i like, hope u do 2

Hi There peeps

hope your sunday is going relaxingly, my kids are both out at the mo and hubbys watching the F1 so arrrhhh a bit of peace.

So i made this card quite qucickly and isnt it funny the ones you spend less time on them the nicer they are--- well mine are anyway, i followed the sketch over at Friday Sketches.

used one of my digi image" please let me open it" and used fabulous Basic Grey papers i think this is what makes the card stand out, great papers are vital!

I coloured with copics and stickles and used one of Lynnes fab sentiments from Sentiments4u. these are fab, instanly downloaded and a set of 6 can be resized to fit the round nesties GREAT!

Also she does a freebie Friday, and will design your blog signatures for you! a very talented lass! i may be able to draw a teddybear but i am useless on photoshop!

Off to hunt for some more challenges,

A Challenge Christmas Card...

Well guess what peeps
I finally got to colour one of my digis, i have been so busy, this is usually left to my fab DT but i really love this image and wanted to colour it in, and enter a few challenges at the same time.
Now this is called 'Carol singing crew' and i thought i would colour them in with my forgotton polys.
I am not sure if this was a good idea or i should have used my copics. I am yet to attempt distress inks!!! too scared!!lol!

Anyhow i also thought i would do a easel card but i found this difficult and not enough space. So my papers are some fab ones from Nitwit collection theya re lovely only A4 size but really cute. The sentiment was from Sentiments4you. Lynne does some fab digi download sentiments and this is what i was looking for. I used my woodware snowflake pinch and ms icicle punch and covered everthing in Glitterdust and stickles.

Here is my card------

I used my 'Makeover maisy' girl from my store., you may recognise her from my Blinkie her name is Jessie. I used some freebie papers and tried to make a sky by cutting out some cloud shapes and just inking some white around the shape. I then added the butterflies. I also used my MS grass punch for the first time.

SFTW Challenge - Halloween/Fall

Not been around much lately sorry, been busy withy my real job!!(wish i could get paid for blogging!!lOL)
Well its time for SFTW. and this fortnight we have Halloween/fall theme.

Well here is my card-------

Now this didnt quite work as i wanted it to, i bought some distress crackle glaze from Tim Holtz but it thought it would crack my background more but it didnt really work!! i drew the background with white gel pen then distressed it and covered my image in Glossy accents (which looks like it has white streaks on it in the photo).
I coloured my digi image "pumpkin bear" in copics and he has a bat hanging off his hat which you cant see !
I bought some black fluffy brads ages ago finally i got to use them. I made the sentiment tag and the BOO is a sizzix alphabet die.

2 Girly Cards

Hi there peeps YEy its Friday!!
hope your all planning a fine weekend , i am off to stamping Fair tomorrow cant wait!
Anyhow here are 2 cards i did for 2 of my friends little girls as you will see one is 2 yrs old the other is 1.
I had the younger little girl already drawn but i needed an older one for the 2 yr old so i drew
'Maisy May with Bunny' and thought i would share them with you.


I used the Sketch at Sketch saturday. for this card and hope i am not too late to enter.

This is an easel card i made and used the fairy doodles sentiments both of my images are coloured with copics and can be found in my digi store.

My card is made using my new image "WINDY PLAY", coloured with copics. I used some paper i have had for ages and faux stitched around the edges. The sentiments are computer generated.
