New card and Candy Time !!!!

Hi There my lovely Ladies

I have a card to share today i have done using my new image 'Time to Share Cake'

I have finally bought myself some Distress markers and i am loving Them!!! they are taking a bit of getting used to but i think i will stick with them, i now need more colours!!lol!

I have used a Tim Holtz Die and lots of distress paint, the image is so large ther is not much room for embellishments!!

I do hope you like it......

Make it Masculine

Hi there my crafty friends!

This weeks challenge is of course 'Use those markers' get colouring and show us your talent!

I had to make a new home card for a friend and i wanted to use my New home mushroom image!

I decided to try some sky and background to create a scene.

The sentiment i had in my Digi stash and papers are from a pad i have had for a while from Marianne designs called Beach house.The little mushroom is a wooden one i have coloured with copics and covered with glaze, the flowers are form Wild orchid crafts.

New Birthday Challenge

The weather was kind here and we went on some lovely family walks.

Distress Ink Virgin!!!!

Hey there peeps

I just wanted to show this card i made using the CANDIBEAN Stamp 'Pennys Cheeky Kiss'

I have made this for 2 of my friends who are tying the knot, but what i wanted to show was my FIRST time using Distress inks!!!

Now i know its quite patchy and i notice and you can see mistakes but if i keep trying i may get better??? i just love the effect!

I will need new brushes as mine are from the £ store and are awful so i will have to go to the Art shop and get some 'proper' brushes. I have tried the water brushes ages ago but i didnt like them but maybe another try wont hurt.

Anyhow i hope you like it??

Easter!!

I have 2 Easter card to show you today, they are for my Challenge of course 'EASTER' thats just around the corner. Boy the year is trundling along at such a fast pace!!!

My first card is using 'Easter Surprises' and i have done some paper piercing on Izzys dress. The rest are copics and lots of distress paint, the papers are my minds eye.

my next card is using 'The ears are the best bit'. i bought a new die which i love (sorry i through the packaging away so i dont know who its by) and my MDF butterfly is covered in embossing enamel.

I have used different flowers this time around for a change and it a Tim Holtz alterations die 'Tattered pinecone' but i made it into a rose.! lol!

I have painted some wooden mushrooms i bought from my local craft shop and covered them with glaze, the wooden hearts are also from my craft store and i just distressed them a bit. The sentiment i have had for ages, sorry cant remember where i got it from, its a digi one.
